Music Assembly

Today’s Music Assembly was a wonderful showcase of talent, confidence and teamwork, offering pupils the opportunity to perform and celebrate their musical progress in front of the school community. From the very first notes, it was clear how much enthusiasm and commitment the children brought to the stage.

Each performance reflected the time, effort and dedication pupils have invested in their music lessons and rehearsals. It was a joy to see their confidence grow as they performed, supporting one another and taking pride in their achievements. Opportunities like these play an important role in helping children develop resilience, focus and self-belief.

Music also brings significant academic benefits. Research shows that regular musical activity strengthens memory, concentration and listening skills, while developing an understanding of patterns and rhythm that supports mathematical thinking and language development.

Well done to all of our performers for sharing their talents so confidently, and thank you to Miss Hughes, Mrs Sparkes and our instrumental teachers for inspiring a genuine love of music across the school.
